A sparrow when I'm broken, and eagle when I fly.....

Welcome to my world. I am an ordinary wife and mom who has been extraordinarily blessed by an amazing husband and house full of beautiful children. My prayer is that you will be somehow blessed by our family's story. It is a tale of God's grace and forgiveness...His loving kindness and patience with us His children as we strive & struggle everyday to bless His name with our lives

Goodby Winter!

It was a long winter. The next 4-5 mos we will swim every day (few baths needed), eat our meals outside (less meal mess inside) and wear saddles (no need to find a dozen pair of socks a day). Summer I love you...

Man! Is Sauly really swimming with no help? Crazy! I think we need to come for a few days and work Silas into the swimming groove.

Holly....i use those swim suits with flotation things inside them...they learn to swim with those on and once they can do that we take off the suits and they quickly learn to swim without the flotation suits. They use same movements but of course they have to work harder to keep afloat. We are in the pool with them. Solly is not allowed in deep end though. He would be able to jump off diving board and swim to side...but that is rule of ours. The little kids are not allowed to even walk up by deep end. They kinda learn by sitting on the steps at first and venturing off a little at a time. It sure helps having a pool in back yard. But of course they can not play in back yard so it is trade off.

Oh my gosh - I only have 4 kids and I look so forward to summer because I don't have to find matching socks every morning!!!! Looks like great fun. Maybe you can bring the kids over to my sister's house in Pasco to pick blueberries with us this summer!
